                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1311 and
                   1313 HANOVER STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST
                   LINE OF HANOVER STREET AT DORCHESTER ROAD, FROM
                   O-1 OFFICE ZONE TO C-5 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1311 and 1313 Hanover
                Street, being on the northeast line of Hanover
                Street at Dorchester Road.  Lots 6 and 7, block 2,
                Riverview Terrace, as shown by plat of record in
                plat book 7, page 29, ROHC; being the properties
                described in deed book 2652, page 454, ROHC, and
                deed book 4370, page 816, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
                136A-K-7 and 8.
               
         from O-1 Office Zone to C-5 Neighborhood Commercial Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Excluding any convenience groceries.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
